Zoryn is a native macOS voice app with two activation modes on separate hotkeys.

## Two modes

**Dictation Mode.** Press a key in any Mac app, speak, release. Cleaned-up text lands where the cursor is.

**Assistant Mode.** Copy something first, then press the second key and say what to do with it. The AI runs on the Mac. Whatever you ask — answer, rewrite, summarize, format, restructure — is done on what you copied, and the result lands at the cursor.

The Assistant Mode gesture is: Copy → Talk → Land.

### Does my voice or what I copy go to the cloud?
No. What you say, what it types, and the AI's answer all stay on your Mac. No internet needed for day-to-day use.

### What's the limit on Free?

### “Check for Updates” keeps showing an error. How do I fix it?
A few older Zoryn versions can get stuck where macOS blocks the updater from writing to its cache. Run the one-click repair tool at zoryn.ai/repair — it resets the cache in about 30 seconds without touching your transcriptions, settings, or license. Then check for updates again.
